Lincoln High School Band

Our Sioux Falls, SD-based band program features a nationally recognized marching band, three competitive jazz bands, four concert bands, pep bands and color guard. Our directors lead the band, which is supported by the Lincoln Band Parents Association (BPA), an all-volunteer, non-profit parent organization. Concert & Performance Tickets

The Sioux Falls School District began using Bound in Fall 2024 for spectator tickets to fine arts and sporting events hosted by the district. This includes the LHS Band's school year performances for concert bands and jazz bands, as well as football and basketball games where the band performs. Download the Bound app or go online to buy your tickets in advance. Be ready to show your ticket on your device (or printed by you), so we can scan at the event. (Or contact the band directors if you'd like to get tickets via cash or check.)

Note: Tickets may differ for the President's Bowl, Festival of Bands and other select events. Tickets details for out-of-town competitions will be communicated via the band and BPA on social media, email and/or the website.

Car Raffle Winner Announced

Susan Tjarks of Mitchell is the winner! We drew her name at the August 21 Preview Night. She bought the winning ticket from her grandson, who is in the band.

Thank you to everyone who supported this major fundraiser and made it a success: ticket purchasers, students, families, the BPA, the community, and Vern Eide Mitsubishi for donating half the cost of the car.

This combined effort raised nearly $115,000 for the BPA's support of Lincoln Band programs and students!

Macy's Parade 2024

Our marching band represented Lincoln, Sioux Falls and the state of South Dakota during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 28, 2024! Our band students and community were thrilled to have this honor and once-in-a-lifetime experience, even if it rained during the entire parade!
