Volunteer: We Need You!
As we prepare for another exciting and enriching school year, we invite you to become an active part of our band family through volunteering. It’s a great way to get to know other band families and our band community.
-
Every parent of a Lincoln Band student is technically part of the Band Parents Association.
-
We challenge you to find at least one volunteering activity this year, and we’re asking every family to volunteer a minimum of 4 hours in some capacity.
-
There are opportunities for everyone to contribute throughout marching band season and the school year.
-
We need the time, energy and support of our amazing parents – whether you have a little time or a lot. Please consider where you might fit best.

Select Volunteers Background Check
Each school year, chaperones and roadies volunteers with the band must complete the unsupervised volunteer background check form for the Sioux Falls School District website. It takes around two weeks for background checks to complete. (If you work for the school district, this form is not necessary.)
