4-6 pm: Students in closed rehearsal at Howard Wood Field.

6-7 pm: On the visitors' side, the BPA provides students dinner (BBQs, chips, water). If you have dietary restrictions, please bring another food option. Students promptly suit up in uniforms. (Chaperones will be on hand to help.)

7 pm: Section and full group professional photos start, followed by individual yearbook photos

Things to Know

​This event is ideal for band families, grandparents, extended family and close friends.

If you have one, bring a stadium chair or blanket for extra comfort on the bleacher seats.

Feel free to take photos of the band at the event, but please do not share videos online or on social media. We want to keep some secrets from the general public.

Be prepared to hear very loud ticking sounds. It’s from a metronome, which the band uses early in the season as a practice tool to produce a steady pulse (or beat) to help musicians play rhythms accurately. The pulses are measured in beats per minute (BPM). Don’t worry, it’s no longer used when competitions start.
