There are many opportunities for family, friends, the Lincoln community, supporters and the general public to see our students perform in our marching, concert, jazz and color guard programs. This schedule is subject to change, including additions as more information is available. We also offer a downloadable schedule.
Marching Band and Color Guard Season
Aug 12 | Breakfast with the Band
Howard Wood Field | 8-10 am
What to expect: Get a taste of spat camp plus donuts, coffee and community. It's a fun start to spectating this season! Come meet friends new and old.

Aug 19 | Roosevelt Clinic Exhibition
Howard Wood Field | 10 am
What to expect: Original plans have changed due to heat advisory. Our band will do clinic and also perform in the morning.

Aug 22 | Preview Night

What to expect: See how the field show has progressed as spat camp wraps and the school year gets underway. Note: Some activities have changed due to extreme heat.

Aug 25 | LHS Football Game

Sept 9 | Presidents Bowl
Howard Wood Field | 3:30 pm game time
This year, we're the away team, so the band is doing pep band only on the visitor's side. We are not playing the national anthem or the field show.
Sept 15 | LHS Football Game, Senior Night & Homecoming
Howard Wood Field | 5 pm game time
We're also drawing the winner of the LHS Band Car Raffle fundraiser at this game!

Marching Competitions
These shows are when the season gets really fun and interesting! Preliminary performance times and student travel times are announced closer to the events. If our band makes finals, we perform again. Lincoln fans are encouraged to travel to support our performers and show your "sea of red" in the stands.

Marshall High School hosts this ticketed evening event featuring 15+ high schools from 3 states.

Sept 30 | Bands of America Iowa
Performance Times: Prelims at 4:15 pm, Finals begin at 7 pm. Finals performance time TBA at event.
Awards: 11 pm

Oct 7 | Festival of Bands
Howard Wood Field, Sioux Falls, SD
Lincoln co-hosts this event, so we perform in exhibition in the parade and on the field.

Parade Step-Off: 10:45 am
Field Exhibition: 5:30 pm

Tickets: Details TBA. Tickets aren't required for the parade near Covell Lake. Tickets only needed for the field marching events at Howard Wood Field.

It's impressive to see our band perform in this stadium and be on the big screen at this ticketed event!

Performance Times: Prelims at 3:30 pm. Finals Order and Awards at 4:45 pm. Finals begin at 6:45 pm. Finals performance TBA at event.

Howard Wood Field, Sioux Falls, SD
Join us for this free, final local performance as students finish their last rehearsal before hitting the road for Indy!

No tickets or reservations. Just come to the Lincoln football field ready to cheer on our students!
